Ok, so the updated directory listing is attached. I had lost .htaccess when moving from the grav fold that comes out of the zip file into the web-root folder. I guess the my shell ignores hidden files

Thank you for helping me with this. The error coming up is http 500 shown in the first image attached. I just emptied a domain so Grav can have it all to itself. The domain is devserver-017.info The

I think I was unclear. I want to run grav NOT in the webroot of my site. That just runs automatically if I put the files there? That is not happening for me.

You just put Grav in that subfolder, and it should run just fine.

Nothing to do, I always get a 500 error, even after clearing my cache and changed the permissions on the .htaccess ... My website: https://incompris.olympe.in/artistes/ (Provisional url)
