Ampersand and Grav

So I'd love if grav run on node.js or something if it has to do that for ampersand to work, since I see myself getting onto js train.

I don't understand the question, sorry. Which ampersand are you talking about? Ampersand.js?

Yea- "ampersand.js"-, I haven't looked into grav enough to really weight the options, but I'm definitely not having anything to do with PHP

You might be looking at the wrong technology. While Ampersand.js is a frontend stack (so can be added on top of anything), it's better suited for a node.js backend.
