Blog in X-Corporation theme

I'm new to Grav and tried several ways to get blog pages working in the X-Corporation theme. I copied the blog related twig files into the templates folder and the blog loads but not in the nice layout of the X-Corporation. At https://learn.getgrav.org/cookbook/tutorials/create-a-blog it says "You might need to tweak the markup to suit your theme." but I am not sure where to start. So I was hoping if someone can provide some/point out instructions to sort this out or if someone can make blog pages for the X-Corporation theme? Thanks!
