Grav and Plugin Update Notification

Hi,
I use Grav on a relatively static site so only need to login once every couple of months to update content. It is then I see there are core and plugin updates, is there any way to configure email alerts about updates? I have tried looking through the configuration on the admin module as I thought this would be where alerts would be located...

that is currently not possible, but I think we can setup something that sends out notices via our mailing list. I'll think about how best to do this.
