MediaEmbed Plugin Bug?

Hi! I'm using the MediaEmbed plugin to embed a YouTube video. It can be seen on my site here: http://darwenaudio.com/blog/tiva-launchpad-sineplayer I'm noticing a couple of problems that appear in all popular browsers:
1) There's a black band across the top of the video before it is played.
2) You need to click it twice in order to play it.

Anyone else experience these issues or know how to fix them?

I'm curious if there is a different plugin people are using to embed YouTube videos or if most people are using MediaEmbed?
