just to let you know I'm working on implementi this social buttons for Grav https://github.com/kni-labs/rrssb

You should be able to use the Asset manager to automatically add the css and js to the page. There should be no need to do all that stuff manually. Just look at one of the other plugins like featherlight for an example.
