Pulling content from Twitter? YouTube?

Is there a plug-in that shows the most recent x posts from a chosen Twitter account? And/or a YouTube channel?

I reviewed the current available plug-ins and didn't find anything that seemed to offer that functionality. Am I misreading, or is that not around yet?

I don't think such plugin exists yet. You need to embed the code manually in your theme, via the widgets they provide (https://developers.google.com/youtube/player_parameters, https://dev.twitter.com/web/embedded-timelines

I did a little measuring and I found a "solution" that has kinda rocked my socks. The Twitter feed widget from Twitter sideloads a TON of stuff and that was driving my bandwidth crazy (same with the YouTube feed and the Google feed).

So, I took a screenshot of my twitter feed, converted it into a single PNG image, and dropped THAT into the page instead, making it a link to my Twitter site.

I know it's not solving the question per se, BUT... it solved my bigger question which was "Show that we're on Twitter and go visit our Twitter feed."

A little goofy bit of out-of-the-box thinking. :)
