Steps to a theme for a blog site

I would like to develop / design a theme for a blog site. But I have no idea where to start.... maybe a guideline would be great ! thanks !

I strongly suggest downloading and looking over some of the existing themes that have blog views in them.

• Bootstrap
• Afterburner2
• SoraArticle
• Notepad
• Mediator
• Hpstr

Probably others too, but these all have blog views. Best if you download the skeleton packages, and install them and then look at the blog pages first, to see how they are structured, then look at the templates/ folder to see how those pages reference the templates to render.
