I followed this guide to install Varnish and use Apache for SSL termination

All went perfectly until i checked the headers and noticed the pages were not being served from Varnish.
This is all pretty new for me and I was kinda surprised I got this far in the first place, but now I want it to work. I thought itj would work pretty much out of the box but it seems you'll have to work around cookies, could that be the problem? Anyone using varnish with Grav, anyone has a bit of help to offer?
