Looking for Artwork portfolio theme

Does anyone have some recommendation for an up to date portfolio theme?

Intention: presenting my fathers artwork by some portfolio/gallery solution, which can pull image content from a folder. So simply uploading an image should be enough to include it in some portfolio/gallery solution. If necessary I can do some php, but my Grav knowledge is amendable.

In my opinion, you can get very far with the Grav-Theme Quark + Plugin Shortcode-Core + Plugin Shortcode Gallery++ and perhaps a few cards (https://picturepan2.github.io/spectre/components/cards.html).

@RiseUp, Even the plain Quark theme might give you a good starting point. When you choose for the blog layout, you can create a blog-item per artwork, containing an image and a description. You can also attach categories/tags (eg. oil paining, water paint, sculpture, etc) to each art item to allow user to select their preferred type of art.

Is there a plugin or another solution to dynamically include all pictures from a folder without manually referencing the pics?

My photoswipe plugin shows all images uploaded to the page. You'd need to take care of css though, because plugin provides just basics

I'm pretty sure there are more similar plugins, but I developed this one, because I didn't find any, that would fit all my needs

Can confirm Photoswipe plugin is many levels better, easier, and more capable than Shortcode Gallery++.
