Changing Plugin Slug

Hi, I maintain the StaticMath plugin. I want to change the slug from StaticMath to all lowercase staticmath (I mixed up name and slug when I first made the plugin). Is this permitted, and will this break anything?

I don't see it being published, so it's used only for local installations I assume. In such case I suppose there shouldn't be any problem 🤔 Too little information to say for sure

It is published and has been so for nearly two years, search for "staticmath" on the plugins page.

Maybe I mistyped previously 🤦‍♂️ But I see the slug is all lowercase. Not sure I understand the question

Slug is all lowercase in the Git repo, but is not all lowercase in the released versions (I've recently changed it on the main branch).
