    You might be looking at the wrong technology. While Ampersand.js is a frontend stack (so can be added on top of anything), it's better suited for a node.js backend.

    Yea- "ampersand.js"-, I haven't looked into grav enough to really weight the options, but I'm definitely not having anything to do with PHP
