Any ETA on 1.7?

Is there any ETA on the official 1.7 release? We have seen many RC versions. Just wondering, not in a hurry :) But good to know (if possible at all) what to expect and how to plan work on the website for the next big release.

@Japhy, Have you seen the document UPGRADE FROM 1.6 TO 1.7 ? It will give you insight in what's new and what will break...

I have no idea about the ETA. I think all we can do is read the above doc and start converting and testing all of our sites and feedback any issues we find on the repo.

That's the only way the devs can get a feel of the stability of 1.7 in many different environments/configurations.
