Images not displaying on pages with a parent page

Hello, this is my first time using grav and I am loving it so far but I have found that Images are not displaying on pages with a parent page. I am uploading them into a custom field I have set out in the .yaml file and they work when a page is a parent, but if I set the page as a child pages the images do not show. Please help!
